Sunday School

The Husband and I teach Sunday School to ages 14-17.
It has been an awesome experience thus far. We are learning a lot and the kids are amazing.
But apparently I need to be cautious about what I stick in their little heads...

Me: What are you going to tell your parents you learned in class today?
Sunday School Class: Ladies & Babies are delicious!

It's a long story, but we were talking about the scriptures/gospel being delicious
...and obviously these other things are delicious as well...

I’m so getting fired from my calling.

Pillow Talk

** Precursor: The Husband is not a dancer. He. Does. Not. Dance.**

So on the evening of my birthday (July 15) I asked him to dance for me before bed. This conversation was on the following night...

Me: I know what song you should have danced to last night!
(I begin to sing) ...I'm too sexy for my shirt too sexy for my shirt so sexy it hurts... I'm a model, you know what I mean, and I do my little turn on the cat walk, ya I shake my little tush on the catwalk... I'm too sexy for for Milan, too sexy for Mylan, New York and Japan...Do you even know that song?!
The Husband: Yes, but not word for word like you obviously do.
Me: ...
...I'm too sexy for your party, too sexy for your party, the way I'm disco daaaaaancing...

Expectations

So. The Husband and I have (finally) received callings in our new family ward: Sunday School Teachers! And here is the icing on the cake: we have ages 14-17.
So.Much.Fun.

Today we went over some expectations with the class while we were getting to know them:
Us: Do the readings. Talk about things that are relevant. TALK in class, no texting.
Kids: Treats.
