1,460 Days

Elders Walker, Walter, and King and me after my baptism (04/28/07)
Four years ago today I was confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

I can still remember the spirit that was felt during my baptism and the joy that was shared by all who were present.

One of my favourite moments was when Rachael was waiting for me as I came out of the font in my ridiculous jumpsuit (still not a fan of those). She handed me my towel and hugged me, saying "you did it." Then we laughed and it was probably one of the most holy giggles I have ever had. I just love that Heavenly Father knows me and can appreciate a good giggle even in a sacred moment...

I am also quite fond of the bruises on my legs from hours playing Big Booty at our celebration BBQ.
Shawn: "Number Seven, Number Three!"(...that's all he said. All game.)

Since then it has been an interesting journey, but one of growth and infinite blessings.

I am so grateful for my Heavenly Father and his love for me. I know that Christ lives and that Atonement is real and accessible for all of our life struggles.

I know this post is on the verge of pathetic, but I will get better over time. I am excited to be able to share my experiences with family, friends, and even strangers.

Hurray for the start of something good!
